Metric
The sum of the 17 community-reported serious crime categories. Crimes detected through police action, such as drug offences, are excluded because they largely reflect police activity.

Year-on-year change uses cooler colours for a decrease and warmer colours for an increase; grey means the change cannot be calculated because of missing figures or a small previous-year count.
